Please read through the following 5 questions and then read the 5 explanations as to why we need this information. The key to making your purchase fast, easy and affordable is preparation. A bargain is basically defined as preparation and communication. Your preparation is our preparation as well. If you can answer these following 5 questions then you have made 5 steps toward your next vehicle purchase.


    First consider this:
  1. Do you need help with financing or can you pay cash or arrange your own financing?
  2. If you need financing have you filled out our credit application?
  3. Do you have a down payment or a trade-in?
  4. Do you live in the Southeast Missouri Region?
  5. Does your trade-in have a payoff?
    Explaination of The Big 5:
  1. Cash or Financing is important because (by law) if we were to quote you a price and then overlook a $2.50 application fee or some other finance company charge then we would be in violation of the law. At Huck's Auto Sales we go out of our way to be in accordance with all laws. This is why we have been in business for over 15 years.

  2. A credit application is an important step for those testing the auto finance market as well as those that have average or less than perfect credit. We work with several lenders that offer various rates and terms for everyone in all credit categories. Your credit application (and score) are the best determination of your buying power.

  3. Down payment or a trade-in, is a fairly self explanatory question. If you have a cash down payment and average credit you will have above average buying power. If you have a trade-in then your vehicle will have to be appraised at trade-in values and considered as a cash down payment with a free and clear title at the agreed upon price

  4. Whether or not you live in our region is extremely important if you need help with financing. We cannot arrange financing for people that reside outside of our region (to the same extent as a local customer). Do not let your region of residence stop you from inquiring about financing. Just try to take that into consideration before you apply for credit with an out-of-region place of residence

  5. Trade-in payoffs are fairly self explainatory as well. This is important if you are trading a previously financed vehicle that isn't paid off. In most cases, if you owe more than your trade-in value is, then you may as well sell the vehicle yourself because you can better capitalize on the value of your vehicle. Private-party values are considerably higher than trade-in values. Don't let this stop you from offering your vehicle as a trade, just try to keep in mind that you generally get more money by selling the vehicle yourself. This too can increase your buying power.
